MetalPrint3D-XXL GmbH
is a start-up company established in Berlin, Germany, with the intention to revolutionize the manufacturing market for large high-duty metal parts and components produced by Additive Manufacturing. MetalPrint3D-XXL is a spin-off of the high-performance material developer ROVALMA S.A.
Our mission
is to go beyond the capabilities of existing manufacturing technologies and aim at being the first company in the market to produce large, light-weight high-performance metal parts, combining our leading-edge additive manufacturing technology with biomimetic / lightweight design.
Our cutting-edge additive manufacturing technology
Our technology allows producing metal parts with complex geometries that are impossible to manufacture with «traditional» subtractive or formative technologies, at a lower cost.
Our novel, patented 3D Printing Technology allows printing large-size metal parts and components with:
- Complex geometries, including intricate internal features, not possible today with existing manufacturing technologies, either due to freedom of design or size limitations.
- Exceptional performance, high thermo-mechanical requirements to withstand the severe application conditions under usage.
- Low-cost, beating existing traditional and 3D printing processes.
- High production speed.

Nadine Bleher (CEO):
Nadine Bleher, CEO, holds a Diploma in Political Science by Freie Universität von Berlin, Germany, during which she was awarded a stipend for a scientific research year at Stanford University, California, USA. She also holds a Master in International Business Law by ESADE Business School, Spain, and a Master of Science in Economics and Finance by Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain. Professionally, Nadine has more than 20 years of experience in different positions in the public and private sector, amongst them she has worked for the Federal Ministry for the Environment Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety of Germany, has co-authorized publications on innovative management concepts, training programmes for high-potentials, and the transnationalization of corporate culture. During the last decade Ms. Bleher has been Senior Advisor Legal, Finance and Business Strategy, at ROVALMA S.A.
Isaac Valls (CTO):
Isaac Valls, CTO, graduated as mechanical engineer and metallurgist from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain, and obtained his MSc in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University, California, USA. He is CEO and major shareholder at ROVALMA S.A., where he is also Technical Director. During the last decade, Mr. Valls has become a renowned specialist for tool steels and special alloys due to his vast experience in high technology applications and the development and employment of innovative tool material. Mr. Valls has been involved in 18 publicly co-funded R&D projects and is the author of more than 40 international publications and over 50 patents in these areas, including the one which is the basis for METALPRINT3D-XXL.
